First, grab your tape measure and your dog! Measure the circumference of their chest at the widest part (not too tight!). Then measure the length of their back from neck to base of the tail. Voila! You've got your pup's perfect fit!

A lot of the fit depends on personal preference. Ideally, the coat ends at the base of the tail and isn't gaping in the chest. We have tried to offer a good range of sizes and multiple sizes may fit your dog just fine. Ultimately, you want the chest circumference to be the priority. Its ok if the coat is a little short of the base of the tail or even a little longer for extra coverage. Basically, if your dog can still run, jump and look adorable without any wardrobe malfunctions, you're on the right track!

Some dogs just need a little extra warmth - whether they are sporting a short coat or just want to stay toasty. Senior dogs, puppies and also dogs with medical conditions can also appreciate the cozy boost! Even if your dog is basically wearing its own built in fluffy fur coat, a Lumi-Pup coat still has its perks! The coverage helps keep the mess in check after their epic outdoor adventures. Mud, snow, rain? Bring it on!

The outer fabric is a mid-weight water resistant nylon. If your pup has too much fun in the mud, you can actually just take a wet paper towel and wipe the mud right off! The inner fabric is a soft cotton flannel for a little cozy addition!

The LED light strips in our coats are removable and rechargeable! No need to deal with those small round batteries! Just open the velcro pockets and slide the lights out. Each coat comes with two charging cords to keep your pup on the glow!

Why yes, yes you can! Just remove the lights (please don't forget that part) and toss it in the washing machine. Wash in cold water and then hang to dry! Once dry, slide the lights back in their pockets and it's good as new!
